The Nokia N-Series…

Filed under: blog camp chennai, blogcamp, n-series, nokia — nontechie @ 12:52 pm

The Nokia N series are excellent, which i had seen in Blogcamp Nokia stalls.

The N70 is similar to  Nokia 6680.  The only difference is its internal memory capacity, and a 2 Megapixel Camera. The camera’s resolution is of 1600×1200 pixels, 20x digital zoom. It is very cute and is weighing only 126 grams. It is also equipped with anti-red eye effect. Photos can be taken in different preset modes. Recording video is also possible. Also the presence of an FM-radio should be mentioned.

The next model N90.  It is having a rotational external screen, having turned it aside you’ll get into camera mode. This model is also equipped with 2 Megapixel Camera, and weighing 174 gms.

The next model N91.  It is equipped with a 4 GB hard drive. The presence of the drive is necessary for using the device as an mp3 player; the supported formats are mp3, m4a, AAC, WMA.  According to the manufacturer the battery life in the player mode forms up to 12.5 hours.  It is weighing 160 gms. N91 is also equipped with  good camera.  It also supports WiFi, which can be utilised in navigation in the network, downloading big compositions.

All the three models support USB 2.0 via a standard interface connector also providing the maximum speed of connection to a PC for today.  These models will be very useful for podcasting, and mobblogging.

Airtel Service becoming poorer…..

Filed under: Airtel Broadband, Bharati Airtel, airtel — nontechie @ 8:22 am

This is to bring to notice about the quality of service rendered by the Airtel…the so called no.1 service provider in telecom industry….

I am having 2 telephones from Airtel….one already with a DSL connection. I have planned to get a new DSL connection for the other line also.

I had called a sales person and filled up the application for the same….but i was shocked when i came to know from the sales person that DSL connection for the existing telephone line will not be given high priority. Airtel will give priority for those who are applying new tel. line with DSL connection. I had been informed that the connection will be given in three days. But unfortunately nobody from the Airtel turned up.

After one week of follow up with the sales person, i was totally frustrated and called up directly the Airtel customer care. But even to reach the customer care executive i have to wait in the phone hearing the “Airtel Jingles” (for more than 10 min)….once i get them in line, i expressed my grievance to the executive, but they are unable to sort out the problem. For this result i will be on the tel. line for more than 15 minutes every time i call the customer care.

Since customer care executives are poor guys and girls who are working for Airtel, just answering the customers and giving us a complaint no. generated by the computer…more than that they can’t help us.

Still waiting for the technical guys to come and install my DSL connection…..i dont know when it will be done…..

Even there are problems with the Airtel GSM service also….Airtel has to look into these administration problems and sort it out in time to keep up their no.1 position in the market.
As per their slogan “Express Yourself” im herewith expressing myself, my thoughts about the no.1 service provider!!!!!!!
